Old School Wood Designs began with a storm, a fallen 80-year-old pecan tree, and a spark of inspiration. Just one year into retirement, Hardy Dotson stood before that tree and saw not just fallen timber, but potential. After having the logs milled into planks, he decided to craft three charcuterie boards as Christmas gifts for his sisters-in-law. Those first boards sparked something special—and Old School Wood Designs was born.
